I found a video of the actual news broadcast here , but haven't had any luck in finding the full video which lasts around 45 minutes and doesn't have the music video clips or shows the newscasters at the beginning. Performers film stuff all the time and don't use it. Was it ever shown on t.

I have never seen a full documentary on the duo. Thanks for the links: They mention about how Alexander O'Neal was let go and that Morris didn't want to sing at first, just wanted to be the drummer. Maybe it was never broadcast.
Flyte Tyme Documentary
It's hip hop - rock - country - pop or pop - country. I'm beginning to suspect that may be the case. Last year in June, it got ty,e by hip hop. Performers film stuff all the time and don't use it. So far, I've only seen a short clip on Youtube and the google results consist of the same short documentafy.
It lasts about 90 minutes and basically the guys talking about how the group get started and some other stories, including what they were doing before The Time.

The news website it was originally on has taken both the short and long versions down. I don't think it's the same thing. They might have originally planned to release it and then held it back.
